3RPhysiotherapy aims to help you achieve your running potential by working with you to become a stronger, faster and more resilient runner. We will look after your wellbeing as we know just how frustrating running injuries can be. 


Whether you are simply trying to get fit, or an elite marathon runner, an injury will stop you in your tracks. 3RPhysiotherapy believe the best way to help you to avoid injury is by educating you about how your body works and it’s capabilities.


We will provide a full physiotherapy consultation involving an assessment and treatment of a specific problem and sports massage to ensure that your muscles are in top condition.

All packages come in a presentation box with a free sports bottle.

RETURN TO RUNNING

RUNNING EVENTS

Training for a one-off event? Whether you are running a 10k, Tough-Mudder, cross-county, charity event, you must keep your muscles supple for the months building up to your event. Be treated to three sports massages to increase your feeling of wellbeing whilst you’re training hard and recovering well.

HALF MARATHON

You may have chosen a Half Marathon as your debut running event. We want to help you to be in great condition for the start line and enjoy your first experience in front of the crowds. Sometimes as runners, we get an injury that hinders our ability to perform, also denting our confidence. You may have friends and family who are worried about you running or you’re worried that you will let your chosen charity down. If you need some help and guidance during your up and coming challenge then this package is for you.

Training time: 4-5 months

  • One initial Physiotherapy Assessment, focusing on any injuries or niggles that may be concerning you.

  • An individualised strength & conditioning program (addressing any weaknesses identified in the assessment) including a program of stretches and mobility exercises.

  • Individualised advice on how to improve your running form & progressing your running volume.

  • 4 x 30 minute sports massages.

MARATHON

Running a marathon is a huge challenge. This package is aimed at getting you to the start line in great condition, so that you really enjoy your experience and fulfill your potential. If you've been trying to hit a new marathon PB but just keep falling short on the day or not making it to the start line, then there's a good chance that injuries and/or a lack of structure to your training might be holding you back. Niggles and injuries, can't always be avoided but there is a lot that can be done to minimise the risk. Running your best race relies on completing your key training sessions consistently week after week. The Marathon Package will help you 'train smart' and learn to recognise when you may be pushing too close to the injury line.

Training time: 6-8 months

  • 2 x Physiotherapy Assessments. A thorough assessment of your running & injury history & discuss your goals & targets.

  • A tailored strength & conditioning program to address any identified deficits to help you be more injury resilient, as well as looking at areas to improve performance.

  • Guidance on how to spot signs of injury, and how to adapt your training to reduce the chance of being side-lined by an injury and improve your flexibility. 

  • The package also includes 6 x 30 minute sports massages to increase your feeling of wellbeing whilst you’re training hard and recovering well.

ULTRA MARATHON

This package is aimed at the more experienced long-distance runners who want to achieve their potential or new goal. We want to get you to the start line in the best possible shape. You may be trying to hit a new challenge but keep falling short during training. There’s a good chance that injury and/or a lack of structure to your training could be holding you back. Running your best relies on completing all your key training sessions week after week as optimal performance is built on consistency and smart-structured training. Niggles and injuries can’t always be avoided but there’s a lot that can be done to keep injury risk to a minimum. If you want help to keep your training smart and structured and learn when you are pushing yourself too close to the injury line, then this package is for you. 

Training time: 10 months+

​Package includes:

  • 3x Physiotherapy Assessment sessions.

  • A tailored strength & conditioning program to address any identified deficits to help you be more injury resilient, as well as looking at areas to improve performance.

  • Guidance on how to spot signs of injury, and how to adapt your training to reduce the chance of being side-lined by an injury.

  • The package also includes 4 x 60 minute or 8 x 30 minute massages to improve and maintain your flexibility and also to increase your feeling of wellbeing whilst you’re training hard and recovering well.
