High-powered sound energy waves are focused into the appropriate area of the body via a handheld device, which works to heal the injured tissue via the formation of new blood vessels, a reduction in Substance P, and the reversal of chronic inflammation.

What to Expect from Shockwave Therapy in Leeds

Shockwave Therapy is a non-invasive treatment that typically lasts for 5-15 minutes. Some patients may experience a low level of discomfort during Shockwave Therapy, but this is normal, and is usually tolerable. Where it is intolerable, the intensity of the shockwaves can be adjusted.
