LEEDS PHYSIOTHERAPY

We offer physiotherapy from our Leeds physiotherapy clinic in Garforth, while also attending home physio visits if required.

Physiotherapy aims to:

  • Encourage tissue healing by controlling and reducing pain and swelling

  • Restore normal movement and function by maximising the condition of the muscular, joint and nervous systems

  • Identify and treat potential problems and reduce the risk of recurrence

What to expect:

Following an initial free telephone consultation to establish if 3RPhysiotherapy can help you, a convenient appointment will be made to either visit you at your home or see you at the Leeds physiotherapy clinic, at Garforth Leisure Centre.

During your initial face-to-face consultation, a further detailed discussion about your condition; specific questions about your current physical state of health will also take place. Following this, a comprehensive physical examination of the problem area and surrounding joints will begin.

After this stage a treatment plan will be discussed and agreed with you. At this time an indication of how many treatment sessions you might require will also be provided. A personalised home based and easy to follow exercise programme or recommendations will be provided for you to carry out independently.

If necessary your physiotherapist can liaise with your GP and other health professionals.
